3 Too Many

Tuesday 7 May

Well there is nothing really to report from our abode, Tony continues to rest peacefully with us at home.  He is sleeping a lot now, occasionally opens his eyes and squeezes a hand when his is held.

We are fortunate to have Sandra staying and helping out for a couple of days – great to have your love, support and a yummy meals!  Thank you.

I saw this poem and thought of you guys:

Poem by Callum Kilgour-Aitken, age 10

You see families caring for each other
Kids hugging their father, their mother, their sister and brother
    Families walking on beaches
    Whilst others go fishing
    Some go for picnics
    Others stay at home
The number one goal is being a family

Glad everything is peaceful. Reminds us all right now how important those simple gestures are, the hand squeeze, the catch of the eyes…..

    Thinking of you all.
